Woman Murdered in Villa Gobernador Gálvez, Suspect is Ex-Partner

A woman was shot and killed in a sector of Villa Gobernador Gálvez in a crime that, in principle, would be a femicide perpetrated by the victim's ex-partner. Both are accused of being accomplices in what would be classified as femicide. The case is being handled by Homicide Prosecutor Alejandro Ferlazzo, who has ordered relevant measures for the criminalistics laboratory of the Police of Investigations (PDI) to clarify the crime. The victim has been identified as Romina Sánchez, 25 years old. Police officers arrived at the scene after a 911 call, and emergency personnel confirmed the young woman's death as a result of injuries sustained in the attack with a firearm. According to initial information, the Tactical Action Police (PAT) conducted a saturation operation in the area and managed to arrest a man who was riding a blue Motomel 110cc motorcycle in the Las Flores neighborhood. The police seized the motorcycle the victim's ex-partner was riding. The man on the motorcycle was identified as Alejandro Enrique P., 25 years old, who would be the victim's ex-partner, according to the testimony of witnesses. During the operation, carried out on Flor de Nácar and Calle 513, officers seized a .38 caliber revolver hidden under a mattress in a house, which would be the weapon used by the femicide. The police also seized a firearm. The murder occurred in the last few hours on the streets Raúl Alfonsín and Bordabehere, in an area bordering Rosario.
